In July, we're hosting two free sessions to help Geelong-based artists with grant applications for the City of Greater Geelong 2022-23 Arts Grants. Up to $10,000 per applicant is available for projects commencing December 2022.
Platform's Ilana Russell and Melinda Chapman have broad experience in both writing and assessing funding applications, and will be available to answer questions or offer guidance for your draft proposal. Please make sure you mention any specific questions or topics you want to cover in the check-out form!
These sessions are designed to offer:
Tips to get started
Feedback and advice on your application
Assistance with drafting budget, timelines, project overview
Suggestions for collaborations/connecting with other artists & organisations
Before you arrive, please read over the application guidelines, and bring a draft idea for your application. Each session is limited to 20 people.
Please bring: Your laptop, notebook, questions and project ideas.
